How Property workspace handles your account, saved properties and browser information.
What we collect and why
When you choose Capture and save in the extension, the listing URL and captured page HTML are sent to our application server to extract property information. Page content may include an address, photos and agent contact details. Do not submit private or sensitive information unrelated to your property research. Opening the extension does not itself capture a property.
We store extracted property details and source evidence, hauls, saved comparisons, recorded property changes, checklist progress, findings and notes so you can return to your research.
For registered accounts, we process your email address, authentication identifier, membership access, payment references and usage allowances. Browser identifiers, session records and security controls let us recognise visitors, keep workspaces separate and prevent misuse. Firebase Authentication handles account credentials.
What stays in this browser
- Workspace cookies
- Cookies recognise this browser's guest workspace and signed-in session. Guest cookies can last up to one year; ordinary account sessions up to five days and administrator sessions up to 30 minutes, unless ended earlier.
- Calculator preferences
- When you change the buying-cost calculator, general assumptions are remembered in this browser for the current identity. These include deposit settings, mortgage term, illustrative interest rate and purchase-tax choices. Property-specific amounts are not saved in this browser memory. Preferences remain until cleared using your browser's site-data settings.
- Extension settings
- The extension stores its configured workspace address using Chrome extension storage, which may sync according to your Chrome settings. Saved hauls and properties are held by the workspace service.
Editing a calculator does not save a personal budget to your account. A generated comparison containing buying costs stores the assumptions, amounts and results used at that time; they are not automatically applied to a new comparison.
Before clearing site data: register or sign in to transfer any guest hauls you want to keep. Clearing cookies may remove access to an unclaimed guest workspace. Clearing browser or extension storage does not delete records already stored by the service.
Feedback, messages and service reports
Feedback includes the subject, message, submitted page reference, conversation replies and status, linked to your browser or account. Guest feedback can transfer to your account when you sign in. Support replies stay in Feedback & support; service announcements appear in Notifications. These website channels do not send email.
To report daily, weekly and monthly service use, we record browser or account identity, UK calendar day and membership type. These activity records do not contain property contents, page-by-page browsing history or IP addresses. Other service requests may process network information for security and rate limiting.
Payments and refunds
Stripe processes payments for the one-month access pass. We store order and payment identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, access dates and refund requests or decisions to provide access and handle support. The pass does not renew automatically. We do not store full card numbers.
Information entered into Stripe's payment page is handled under Stripe's privacy policy ↗. View your payments and request a refund from Account.
Service providers and external content
We use Google Firebase Authentication and Firestore for account and workspace services. Local test environments use Firebase emulators. Our application and hosting infrastructure process requests to operate the website.
For nearby-place searches, our server sends the approximate listing map coordinates and place categories to Geoapify. It does not include your workspace email, notes or checklist answers in these searches. Results are cached to reduce repeat requests.
When an embedded Google map loads, your browser connects to Google with the listing location, network information such as your IP address and browser information. Property photos and other externally hosted content may also connect your browser to their providers. Opening an original listing or another external link takes you to that provider's service.
Provider information: Google ↗ and Geoapify ↗. Providers may process data outside your country under their applicable terms and safeguards. We do not sell your personal information or submitted listing data.
How long information is kept
- Hauls and saved research: the normal starting retention period is 30 days. Paid access can extend it. Use the availability date shown for each haul; deletion or expiry can also make related saved comparisons unavailable. Recorded property-change history is limited to the latest 10 entries per saved property, rather than a separate one-year archive.
- Nearby places: results are normally fresh for seven days. Expired results may remain marked as stale until refreshed or cleaned up; freshness does not mean all stored copies are deleted after seven days.
- Activity and messages: activity reporting records are scheduled for expiry after 400 days. Private feedback-update notices have a 90-day availability period; service announcements have their own expiry. Feedback conversations are kept to handle support and follow-up requests.
- Accounts, billing and security: records are kept as needed to maintain your account, apply access and usage limits, resolve refunds or disputes, prevent misuse and meet applicable obligations. Contact us for a request concerning these records.
Availability dates and physical deletion are different: expired or deleted records are removed through cleanup, and copies may remain temporarily in backups. We do not promise immediate removal of every stored copy when a haul disappears from the website.
Your requests and questions
Contact sysclkout123@gmail.com to ask about your information or request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy where applicable. Use your account email if you have one; for a guest workspace, contact support from the same browser while you still have access. We may need to verify that the records belong to you. Do not send passwords or card details.
Some payment, security or other records may need to be retained to meet obligations or resolve disputes. If you have a concern, contact us first. You can also raise a data-protection complaint with the UK's ICO ↗.
